I write a lot of things

Writing and illustrating were my first creative loves as a kid. I started writing very early on in my life on behalf of my father, a world renown Grandmaster of Tae Kwon Do. My first paid publication that I can remember is an article I wrote for Black Belt Magazine as a high school student entitled “Kicking 101” (2001).

In 2019, I actualized my dream of becoming a children’s book author (and illustrator) by self-publishing. In 2024, I released my first traditionally-published book about hobbies, and my first cookbook will be releasing in the fall of 2026!

I enjoy so many subjects and hope to continue authoring more projects. Currently, my dream publications include a therapeutic memoir, more children’s books about AANHPI stories, oracle and tarot card decks, and a fictional story based off of my father’s life and the martial arts scene in America during the 1980s.

I’m currently represented by Lindsey Smith at Speilburg Literary.

Role Models Who Look Like Me: Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders Who Made History

A children’s book I wrote, illustrated, and self-published in 2019. Through rhymes, it shares the stories of AANHPI figures from the past and present and culminates in a family portrait to remind readers of belonging and the power everyone has to positively impact history.

This book was a culminating project for one of my art classes at Carlow University when I was pursuing my undergraduate degree in art therapy. It’s the kind of book I wish I had growing up as a kid to feel less alone in my Asian American identity.

The K-Pop Kitchen: Korean Recipes and Idol Fun Facts for Fans of Kpop Demon Hunters, BLACKPINK, BTS, and More

I wrote this for K-pop fans who want to learn more about Korean culture through its food. Featuring 40 Korean recipes spanning popular street snacks like spicy tteokbokki and Korean corn dogs, restorative dishes like cucumber kimchi and samgyetang, popular jjimjilbang (bathhouse) foods like naengmyeon and bingsu, and traditional dynastic treats like yakgwa and injeolmi, this cookbook includes K-pop lore written from my perspective as a Korean American millennial fan.

Releases September 29, 2026. Available for preorder now!
